Florida is known for its excellent climate throughout the year.
The school is very dynamic and designed especially for a successful stay and quality. The students are fully supervised by our staff and consultants for the duration of your stay. Pool, restaurant and other facilities are available to the students.

Tuition programs

  • 1 lesson: 50 minutes.
  • FULL BEGINNERS ARE NOT ACCEPTED.
  • Minimum 13 years old.

  • BOCA RATON: Residence accommodation full air conditioned, triple or quadruple occupancy. One bathroom per room.
     
  • FORT LAUDERDALE: family accommodation, shared bedroom and bathroom
     
  • 19 meals / week, 3 meals per day from Monday to Friday, 2 meals par day on Saturday and Sunday.
     
  • Full supervised activities
  • 2 excursions per week like:
     - 1 day to NASA Kennedy space center
     - 1 day in MIAMI
     - 1 half day in the EVERGLADES national park
     - 1 LIMO ride in MIAMI at night
     - 1 day to the BEACH
     - 1 day to the MALL (shopping)

Fort Lauderdale: arrival on sunday and departure on saturday.

Boca Raton: arrival and departure on Wednesday.

Available options

Transfers in/out included between Miami or Fort Lauderdale airports and accommodation.

Please note that it is very significant to ensure your child before the departure. This insurance completes the one already held by the summer camp.

 To this end we strongly advise you to view the general conditions of reservation.

We also would like to specify that your child will be take care of as of the moment of his arrival to the airport or the station and this until the date of expected return. A monitor will undertake to drive your child to the airport or the station for its return and will make sure that his departure proceeds under the best conditions. Additional precision: a qualified medical personnel is always present 24 hours a day.

  • All our rates are valid from January 1st till December 31st, and never include the plane ticket.

The School

   

Our school uses the buildings and grounds of Lynn University*. Lynn University is a private university founded in 1962, set on 123 lushly landscaped acres boasting 7 freshwater lakes. Lynn University has earned the reputation of one of the safest campuses in the USA. 

The school can accept around 300 students from many different countries during the summer, offering excellent quality accommodation, innovative lessons and an exciting and varied leisure programme. A professional, caring management team with extensive experience ensures thatour summer schools maintain the highest operational standards.

Meals:

19 meals per week included. Monday – Friday 3 meals daily: breakfast, lunch and dinner, Saturday and Sunday 2 meals included: brunch and early dinner. All meals will be provided at the University’s cafeteria. 

There is a fully equipped kitchen on site and a large, light, airy dining hall. There is a wide choice of different meals, including a vegetarian option and the food is always cooked freshly on site. The menu is agreed between the school and Lynn University to suit and food is supplied from local farmers and suppliers. The dining hall can accommodate all students in one sitting, all students are required to show their student card in order to enter.

Miami
Full-day
excursion to South Florida’s unoffi cial capital allowing students to take in the major sights, such as Lincoln Road and the world famous South Beach, on a walking tour providing students with a unique taste of this exciting and vibrant city. (Group visits to a particular attraction on request).
Packed breakfast and lunch included. The total duration of this trip is approximately 9 hours, of which 3 hours is travel time.

Miami Seaquarium (3 & 4 Week Students Only)
Full-day
excursion to the longest operating oceanarium in the USA, Miami Seaquarium. This 38 acre marine park is home to Flipper the Dolphin and Lolita the Killer Whale. Students will round off the day with a trip to the near-by Mall of America where they can shop till they drop.
Packed breakfast and lunch included. The total duration of this trip is approximately 9 hours, of which 3 hours is travel time.

Rapids Water Park
Full-day
excursion to South Florida’s premier water park. Rapids Water Park is home to Big Thunder, the largest water ride in South Florida. With over a million and a half gallons of water and 29 exciting waterslides, there really is something for everyone.
Packed breakfast and lunch included. The total duration of this trip is approximately 9 hours, of which 3 hours is travel time.

Key West (4 Week Students)
Full-day
excursion to the southern most point of the continental United States of America. Students will enjoy a visit to the home of one of Key West’s most famous residents and renowned author, Ernest Hemmingway. Students will then be allowed free time to explore Duval Street, home of the weird and the wonderful.
Packed breakfast and lunch included. The total duration of this trip is approximately 12 hours, of which 8 hours is travel time.

Naples (3 & 4 Week Students, on arrival days)
Students staying for 3 & 4 weeks will enjoy an extra
full-day excursion on transfer days (Wednesday 18th July & 1st August) to Florida’s Gulf Coast. Students will visit the beautiful seaside city of Naples where they will enjoy a morning at the beach followed by a leisurely walk along Naples’ very own Fifth Avenue.
Packed breakfast and lunch included. The total duration of this trip is approximately 9 hours, of which 5 hours is travel time.

The Beach
Half-day
excursion to one of South Florida’s lifeguard patrolled beautiful beaches. Students can enjoy a relaxing afternoon on one of Florida’s golden beaches and participate in a variety of typical beach activities, from swimming in the Atlantic Ocean and sunbathing to playing beach soccer and volleyball. No visit to South Florida is complete without visiting one of its many beaches.
The total duration of this trip is approximately 5 hours, of which 1 hour is travel time.

Fort Lauderdale Cruise (3 & 4 week students)
Half-day
excursion cruising around the ‘Venice of America’, Fort Lauderdale. Students will enjoy views of downtown Fort Lauderdale and Port Everglades.
The duration of this trip is approximately 5 hours, of which 1.5 hour is travel time.

Shopping
Half-day
excursion to one of South Florida’s many malls where students can enjoy browsing through a wide variety of America’s most fashionable stores while allowing them to participate in the very American past time of, ‘hanging-out’ at the Mall.
The total duration of this trip is approximately 5 hours, of which 2 hours is travel time.

Everglades
Half-day
excursion to the largest subtropical wilderness in America. The Everglades is home to a variety of rare and endangered species, from the tiniest grass frog to the biggest American crocodile. Students will take part in an Airboat tour of the park, a unique way to see the local wildlife followed by an alligator show.
The total duration of this trip is approximately 5 hours, of which 2 hours is travel time.

Miami By Limo
Half-day
excursion to Miami at night. Students will travel in a 20-seat stretch limousine along Ocean Drive through the world famous Art Deco district before heading to one of the most renowned destinations in the world; Miami South Beach, home of Miami’s vibrant nightlife.
The total duration of this trip is approximately 5 hours, of which 2 hours is travel time.

Walt Disney World Resort
Full-day
excursion to one of Walt Disney World Resort parks. Students can choose from Magic Kingdom Park®, Typhoon Lagoon, Blizzard Beach, Hollywood StudiosTM and Animal Kingdom Park®.
A 30 minute rest stop for food and refreshment will be made each way. Packed breakfast and lunch included. The total duration of this trip is approximately 16 hours, of which 7 hours is travel time.

Full-day
excursion to SeaWorld, be amazed by breath taking shows featuring the most famous whale in the world, Shamu or visit the Aquatica Water Park and experience the slide of a lifetime, the Dolphin Plunge, a dolphin infested under water world.

Universal Orlando Resort

excursion to your choice of Universal Orlando Resort parks. Students can choose between Universal Studios and Universals Islands of Adventure. A 30 minute rest stop for food and refreshment will be made each way. Packed breakfast and lunch included. The total duration of this trip is approximately 16 hours, of which 7 hours is travel time.

Orlando
We are offering students the opportunity to spend a weekend in Orlando during their stay. Students can opt out of the included full-day Rapids Water Park excursion and spend the weekend in Orlando instead. The weekend excursion departs the school at 06.00 Saturday morning and returns at 22.00 Sunday night.

Included in the price is entrance to Universal’s Islands of Adventure and Disney’s Magic Kingdom. Transport to and from Orlando is via coach and is included in the price. Also included is one night’s accommodation at Champions World Resort Hotel (or similar) in shared rooms and transfers between the hotel and Universal Orlando Resort and Walt Disney World Resort Not included: all meals.

N.B. All the optional activities and excursions are subject to a minimum number of people so, we therefore reserve the right to cancel, prior to the student’s arrival or during his/her stay. The school is not responsible for any last minute changes to the itinerary due to unforeseen circumstances. Refunds will only be given where the excursion or activity does not take place.

 


Leisure programme

The leisure programme represents the largest part of the course and its our intention that all students take part in as many different activities as possible. All included excursions are compulsory unless illness or injury prevents this. We also have a programme of extra excursions which are offered to the students. It is important that these extras are booked well in advance.  

Our activity leaders will organise a variety of on-site activities including casino night, talent show, films and a selection of typical American sports and games. Half-day excursions such as fun at the beach, Limo ride to Miami at night and shopping at Florida's largest mall, Sawgrass Mills Mall, and much more are included in the price.

All activities are supported by activity staff to ensure safety and bring the events to life.

Sports

Boca Raton offers the following sports and games: Flag American Football, Soccer, Softball/Baseball, Basketball, Hockey, Tennis, Badminton, Volleyball. It is important for the safety of all students that correct footwear is worn while playing any of the above sports. Students in bare feet will be asked to stop playing until suitable shoes are worn.

Other Activities

Students have the opportunity to participate in a large number of activities, all within the university’s extensive grounds. Welcome Party/Mixer, Discos, Karaoke, Treasure Hunts, Movie Nights, Indoor/Board Games, Radio Controlled Car Racing, Quizzes (with Prizes). 
Arts and Cafe: T-shirt Painting*, Glass Painting*, Talent Show, Drama Classes, Movie Club.
 
Each two week period we intend to hold a talent show. If a student requires some extra equipment or clothing for a particular skill, feel free to bring it.
 
* There will be a very small nominal charge for certain basic items e.g. T-shitrs, glass. All material such as paint, brushes etc. are provided free of charge.
 

Excursions

Four excursions are included every two weeks, including a full-day excursion to NASA Kennedy Space Center and Miami and a half-day excursion to the Everglades National Park and a Limo ride to Miami at night. Each two week period also includes one trip to the mall and one trip to the beach. There are also optional excursions to Orlando, the home of the American theme park and Tampa.

Tennis Course
We run an optional Tennis Course (at extra cost) with qualified tennis coaches leading the sessions, improving skills and strategies.

PADI Scuba Diving Course
We run an optional scuba diving course that is taught in the Lynn swimming pools by a PADI qualified instructor. This course is specifically designed for students new to scuba diving. 

Basketball Course

We run an optional Basketball Course (at extra cost) with qualified basketball coaches leading the sessions, improving skills and strategies.

 Boca Raton is a small but cosmopolitan city situated on the Atlantic Coast of Florida, midway between Palm Beach and the Fort Lauderdale/Miami area. Boca Raton is home to Lynn University, set in a residential area within minutes of beaches, shopping, cultural facilities, and attractions.
