Learn Spanish in Madrid in Spain 

The school is in the district of Salamanca, a street away from El Retiro park and in a walking distance of the Prado museum . 2  subway lines are near. The school has 20 classes with air-conditioning , a conference room, a video room, a library.

Tuition Programs

• 1 lesson: 45 minutes
• Schedule: (9:00 AM -12:30 PM) and (3:30 PM - 7:00 PM).
• Minimum age: 17 and 21 for Spanish business
• All levels available
• Teaching material
• 6 students maximum per class, 9 in June, July and August.
• Guided tour of the museums (Entrance not included) 1 time per week
• 3 days of excursion per month in Toledo, Segovia, ...
• Social activities 4 times a week and welcome party
• 1 nightlife evening per week.
   
• 25 or 30 lessons intensive PLUS per week: 20 in group and 5 or 10 private.
   
• DELE exam: Exam fee to be paid on the spot: 130 to 170 Euros (€). 
   
• 30 super intensive lessons per week: 21 y.o. Course covering all aspects of the language, written and oral, with a particular specificity on the verbal communication. Recommended for those having not enough time and wishing to make fast progress.
   
• Private tuition: special price for 2 students attending the same course.
• Test and certificate of linguistic training
   
• INTERNSHIP: This is a combination of 4 to 8 weeks of Intensive Course and 6 to 12 weeks of unpaid internship in a company or business in Madrid. Students need an intermediate level (B1) before starting the internship. Internships are available in marketing, international business, hotels, advertising, law/legal studies… School Insurance included. A CV and a letter of motivation in Spanish are requested with your enrolment.

Starting Dates

Beginners must start on the following dates. Other levels, any Monday.

     12 weeks preparation. Starting March 3rd or September 1st.
 
     6 weeks preparation. Starting April 14th or October 14th.

DELE exam dates in 2014 are:  May 24/25 and November 22/23.

Available options

• Airport transfer at arrival: 75 €. Included for courses of 8 weeks or more.
• COURSE FOR PEOPLE AGED 50 AND UP (1 or 2 weeks): starting: February 10 or 17 , July 7 or 14, November 10 or 17.
   
• Our prices are available from January 1st to December 31. These prices never include the plane ticket.

Our greeting families are recruited with great care. The criteria of selection are very rigorous and each family must satisfy a precise schedule of conditions: excellent morality, desire to communicate with their host, satisfactory social standing. We should specify that the families will only speak with you the language of the country where you will be. It is the principle of the immersion courses!
 

   City information

 Capital of Spain and very largest city in New-Castille. Its name would come from the Arab word Magerit, itself from the word "materia" meaning wood, a reference to the forests which pushed in the area when Mores built a fortress in the IX century there. Madrid was conquered by Mores in 1083 and became the capital of Spain in the place of Valladolid under the reign of Philippe II, in 1561. Far from all, it became the largest city in the country only in the XIX century with the appearance of the railroad. The city undergoes many bombardments during the civil war (1936-1939). Today, it is the second industrial center of Spain after Barcelona; aeronautical construction, electric and agricultural hardware, leather. The royal family resides in it. Of all its museums, the most remarkable is Prado.

Madrid is a capital of more than 3 million inhabitants. The city is consisted various districts, well and defined differences between them and others having simply a particular characteristic: there are Madrid de Goya, that of Prado, romantic Madrid, that of Isabelle II: that of the novels of Perez Galdos, there is picturesque Madrid of the rastro, the bullfighters, the dancers of flamenco, Bailaores, the antique dealers, the artists.Madrid has a great number of museums where are presented the greatest Masters of Spanish and universal painting. The museum of Prado is most known but there are also the museums of art of the Queen Sofia, royal arms manufacture and the museum of Carosses and many others...

At night, the diversity of the spectacles proposed will make you love Madrid.

You will also like the gastronomy of Madrid with its famous Cocido, composed of chickpeas, of chorizo, meat, potatoes (sausage or pepper) of rolled, chicken and seasoning. The tripe of Madrid is a culinary specialty of the capital. One prepares them with white wine, cognac, red pepper, ham and spices. The roasted pig, the soup of Tio Lucas asparaguses, and the cutters of Aranjuez are also justifiably appreciated .
