Learn Spanish in Flamingo beach or Jaco beach in Costa Rica  

Flamingo Beach: group courses of 20 or 27.5 lessons per week, private courses. Jaco Beach: group courses of 20, 25 or 30 lessons per week, private courses.

FLAMINGO BEACH school:
 The Spanish school is located in the centre of Flamingo Beach in the Guanacaste coast; five minutes walking distance to the beach. It was established in 2000. The Guanacaste coastal area, replete with pristine beaches and scattered mangroves, is known as the golden coast of Costa Rica.

JACO BEACH school:
The school is a house with a 1000 sqm tropical garden, a terrace (also used for classes) and a swimming pool. There are 4 indoor classrooms, 3 bathrooms and a kitchen area. It also has a computer room with Internet access, relaxing spots with hammocks and benches. The school is located in a pleasant residential neighborhood, just 7 blocks from the beach. Restaurants, hotels, grocery stores, drugstores, bicycle shops and many other services are all nearby.

     Indeed to reach Playa Flamingo and Playa Jaco, this one can not be done the same day as your arrival. This transfer will be in 2 parts: San Jose - San Joaquin de Flores and the next day San Joaquin de Flores - Playa Flamingo or Playa Jaco.

Our greeting families are recruited with great care. The criteria of selection are very rigorous and each family must satisfy a precise schedule of conditions: excellent morality, desire to communicate with their host, satisfactory social standing. We should specify that the families will only speak with you the language of the country where you will be. It is the principle of the immersion courses!

City information.

FLAMINGO BEACH

Flamingo Beach is located in Punta Salinas, northwest of Bahia Brasilito in the province of Guanacaste, Costa Rica. It is a small beach town enclosed by jungle-like hills.
Flamingo Beach is an extraordinarily beautiful destination with miles of sugar-white sand beaches and safe waters for swimming, diving, surfing, snorkelling, and yachting. The town provides a full service marina with ferries and yachts that can take you to other nearby beaches. The region is also internationally acclaimed for being a fishing hotspot.

Any direction you take from Flamingo Beach will take you to an amazingly wonderful Costa Rican site. For instance, in Las Baulas National Park, located next to another lovely beach, Tamarindo, you’ll discover miles of beaches, dry forests, and swamps. Ostonial Wildlife Refuge, placed north of Nosara beach, is a park that nests animal species only found in this environment. Barra Honda National Park was exclusively designed to protect caves, so you’ll find hundreds of underground limestone caverns and caves, of which only a few have been discovered so far and are open to guided tours. The Palo Verde National Park is a paradise for bird-watchers. Rincon de la Vieja National Park boasts a variety of climates, more than six volcanoes, active geysers, thermal waters, waterfalls, and swimming holes. All of this, and much more, within one single park.

 

  

      

 

JACO BEACH

With a privileged location, Jaco Beach is one of the most popular tourist destinations and a surf-lovers paradise. It is located only 2 hours away from San José so its really close to an international airport making it of really easy access.
Jaco beach is about 3 km long and features a great marine landscape along with all things necessary to make your stay really comfortable. The town was once the archetypal sleepy beach town but now it is fully equipped to receive international tourist in tons.

The town has also the reputation of being a ‘party beach’ with an excellent nightlife. However, the fun here is casual and relaxed, and the people are nice and friendly. Discos, nightclubs, casinos, and dive bars populate Jaco’s streets.
Many outdoor lovers come here in search of adventure. Eco-tourists enjoy horseback treks, canopy tours, and hiking through the bordering jungles.

The proximity to major national parks and reserves like Manuel Antonio and Carara Biological Reserve make it a special location for people interested in getting in touch with Costa Rican biodiversity. This beautiful town has literally everything! Come and explore it!
