Learn Russian in Moscow  in Russia

Course of 20 or 25 general Russian group lessons per week, private course, TRKI exam preparation course, Co-Op programme, modules business russian, russian music, russian literature.

In Moscow, the school is 5 minutes walking distance from BELORUSSKAYA metro station

Tuition programs

  • 1 lesson: 50 minutes.
  • Minimum age: 17.
  • Schedule: 09:00 AM to 1:00 PM.
  • Maximum of 8 students per class.
     
  • 25 lessons per week: ALL LEVELS ACCEPTED. 20 lessons + 5 lessons (3 on Tuesday and 2 on Thursday) introducing students to subjects of general interest such as: Russian for business, business in Russia, Russian mass media today, Russian culture, history and literature.
     
  • TRKI exam preparation. Module of 5 private lessons. In addition to a private or group course only. You can get the number of modules you wish jointly determined by the teacher and the student.  Exam cost: between 125 and 150 Euros depending on the type of exam you'll pass (TBU, TEU, TRKI1, 2, 3 or 4).
     
  • Modules: Russian and literature, Russian and music, Russian and business. 5 lessons mini group of 4 students. In addition to a group course.
     
  • Beginners however have to know and be familiar with the Cyrillic alphabet
  • School material
  • Free access to Internet and Email.

  • Airport transfer at arrival, Domodedovo or Sheremetievo airports. Arrival MUST be on Sunday.

During holidays, the courses will take place. They will stop from December 19th, 2014 to start again only January 12th,  2015.

Co-Op programme.
Minimum age to participate: 21
Intermediate level required.
Beforehand, 4 weeks course are compulsory followed from 4 to 24 weeks of work professional experiment in a Russian company.
Required document: a CV in Russian language.
All documentation relating to the work experience programme should be sent at least 8 weeks prior to arrival.

  Family or shared apartment accommodation.

  • Arrival on Sunday (compulsory).
  • Departure on Saturday.
  • Single occupancy bedroom, either B&B or 2 meals per day during the week, all meals during the week end. Airport transfer at arrival included for those taking a course with accommodation. Arrival on Sunday. Domodedovo or Sheremetievo airports.
     
  • Shared apartment. No meal. Single occupancy bedroom. ADDITIONAL NIGHTS ARE NOT POSSIBLE WITH THIS KIND OF ACCOMMODATION.

Price per week: 190€ family, B&B.

Our greeting families are recruited with great care. The criteria of selection are very rigorous and each family must satisfy a precise conditions of contract: : excellent morality, desire to communicate with their host, satisfactory social standing. We should specify that the families will only speak with you the language of the country where you will be. It is the principle of the immersion courses!

Moscow: Walking tours

The Old Arbat

Arbat is one of the famous Moscow pedistrian streets, abounding in boutiques and cafes. Here painters create their works, souvenirs are sold and street singers perform. The memorial house museum of A.S. Pushkin, Marina Tsvetayeva and M.Y.Lermontov are situated in Arbat street. Of special interest there are the old mansions with balconies decorated with modeling.

Museum Russkie Valenki

Valenki (felt boots) have always been considered truly Russian foot wear. Everybody used to wear them no matter what their age or position in the society was. Museum “ Russkie Valenki” is the only one in Moscow where you can find out many interesting facts about such a simple foot wear, its history, ways of producing. You will see different models of valenki – from the ones, dated by 19th century to felt boots which wore Russian sportsmen during the Olympic games in 2002.

Moscow is the capital of Russia and count about 15 million inhabitants today. The last 10 years of reforms completely transformed Moscow: of a sad concrete city, it became a coloured and dynamic European metropolis today. Moscow is unquestionably the Russian city which explodes. It is the economic and political centre of the country and counts two million civil servants.

Moscow was based in 1147 by Prince Iouri Dolgorouki, who built a castle ( Kremlin ) between rivers Moskva and Neglinnaya. Since then, the city knew an animated history.

Not to miss
The Kremlin, a city inside the city, with its churches, its museums and the seat of the government.
Close, the Red Place and Saint-Basile cathedral, the Lenin mausoleum, the historic museum and the famous Goum shopping malls.
The Pouchkine museum of art, the Tretiakov gallery, two key places for the art lovers.
The orthodox Novodievitchy and Danilovski convents, among the most beautiful of Russia.
The University of Moscow, the city of which the main, typical building of Stalinist time, dominate since the Mountain of Sparrows (ex-mountain Lenin).
The former royal domain of Kolomenskoe, which forms an immense park along the river, not far from the university.
The subway of Moscow and its magnificent stations (by eg. Komsomolskaya, Kievskaya, Mayakovskaya).
The exhibition VDNKH, with its monuments and its typical pavilions of Stalinist Soviet time.
Peredelkino, the house of the poet Pasternak, a quiet village outside Moscow.

The Lenin library, who contains more than 6 million books.

A round trip on Moskva river and a magnificent walk along the convent of Novodievitchi, the Gorki park and the Kremlin. Boats leave every 20 minutes between 12:00 am and 8:00 pm of the jetty situated near Kievskaia station. You can also take the boat on the way in any jetty along the river.
