Vancouver Program 1 

Tuition programs.

• 1 lesson: 50 minutes.
• Minimum age: 16
• Schedule: (9:00 AM - 12:50PM)
  for 20 lessons / week.
              (9:00 AM - 3:30 PM)
  for 24 lessons / week.
              (9:00 AM - 4:30 PM)
  for 30 lessons / week.
• Maximum of 14 students per class, average between  8 and 11.
   
• Co-op program (Internship). Upper intermediate level required. The minimum total duration must be 8 weeks with 4 weeks english course and 4 weeks Co-op program (4 and 4).
      TUITION: 30 lessons per week.
      CO-OP program, same duration as tuition. CV and a letter in support of application are compulsory. You are in charge of your own placement but the school will help you to proceed. There is also a possibility for a placement guaranteed by the school.
   
• "PLUS lessons": 2, 5 or 10 private lessons, Additional course to a group course in order to improve particular skills with the teacher.
   
• All levels available.
   
• School material not included. 10$ per week
   
• Language laboratory.
• Free access to Internet and Email. Wireless connexion available.
• Guided tour of the school neighbourhood
• Evaluation and attestation of linguistic training.
• Business English will be based on a   "business" terminology. Recommended level upper intermediate. 10 lessons PM business english only.

Tuition program

These diplomas insure a recognition of your English level on an international plan with numerous multinational companies as well as with English-speaking universities around the world. Establish by UCLES (local University of Cambridge Examinations Syndicates).

• 1 lesson: 50 minutes.
• Minimum age: 18 
• CAE and FCE : intermediate level Students require a 4 to 8 weeks program.
• CPE for advanced level. Will be over a 12 weeks program.
• 30 lessons per week. Schedule: 9:00 AM - 4:30 PM.
• EXAM FEES NOT INCLUDED: AROUND 300$ to be paid on site.
   
• Maximum of 14 students per class
   
• IELTS, TOEFL, TOEIC: 20 lessons per week. Minimum level required: intermediaite. Recommended 6 - 12 weeks. EXAM FEES NOT INCLUDED. IELTS around 325$, TOEIC around 140$, TOEFL around 200$.
• Evaluation and attestation of linguistic training
• Language laboratory.
• Free access to Internet and Email.
• Guided tour around the school.

Our greeting families are recruited with great care. The criteria of selection are very rigorous and each family must satisfy a precise schedule of conditions: excellent morality, desire to communicate with their host, satisfactory social standing. We should specify that the families will only speak with you the language of the country where you will be. It is the principle of the immersion courses!

Students meeting point

• Residence

Single occupancy. Reasonable walking distance of the school (10 minutes), fully equipped kitchen per each floor, towels, laundry room. The room cleaning, change of bed linen and towels will be done once a week. Shared bathroom upstairs. Mini fridge in each room. Internet access ($). Semi-private bathroom available. In this case, queen bed.

• Apartment

  Full equipped private apartment for 1 or 2 persons maximum booking together. Price below is PER apartment.
  
  OTHER POSSIBLE RESIDENCES DURING THE YEAR UPON REQUEST. : for stays of 4 weeks from $ 244 / week for single occupancy and shared bathroom and from $ 323 / week for single occupancy private bathroom.
  For a stay of 5 weeks + between $ 203 / week for single occupancy and shared bathroom and $ 267 / week single occupancy private bathroom.
  CAUTION: important supplements are applicable from May 31st to August 30th.
