Course Description We are offering a TOEFL Preparation Course which is designed to help students acquire the skills and confidence necessary to get a high score on the new, internet-based TOEFL test (TOEFL iBT)
TOEFL is recognized throughout the world by universities and businesses and measures your English proficiency. A high TOEFL score is required by most US colleges and universities for admission of international students.
The Internet-based TOEFL Test The TOEFL Internet-based test (TOEFL iBT) tests all four language skills that are important for effective communication: speaking, listening, reading, and writing.
The test helps students demonstrate that they have the English skills needed for success. TOEFL iBT also emphasizes integrated skills and provides better information to institutions about students' ability to communicate in an academic setting and their readiness for academic coursework.
Class Schedule 09:00 - 10:45 Structure, Grammar (Intensive English)
11:00 - 01:00 TOEFL Preparation
Students work on their grammar skills at their own level of proficiency during the first part of the class. The TOEFL Preparation incorporates the latest materials to prepare students and improve their scores on the TOEFL iBT exam. Practice tests and timed exercises are given every Friday. They will help students to gain confidence and do well on the real test.
Students may enroll for any number of weeks, based on their individual needs and goals. Classes start every Monday.
TOEFL iBT Computer Lab We highly recommend that students who plan to attend the full-time TOEFL Preparation course in the morning, sign up for the optional Computer Lab to build the necessary skills for the internet-based TOEFL test.
The TOEFL Computer Lab is open every day, Monday to Friday, from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.
TOEFL = Test of English as a Foreign Language TOEFL iBT = Intenet Based Testing
CBT = Computer Based TOEFL Test
What is TOEIC? The Test of English for International Communication (TOEIC) evaluates the ability to use English in an international working environment. Over 5 million people have taken the TOEIC test. More than 2000 international companies use TOEIC scores for English language assessment and employee selection.
Course Description The TOEIC Preparation is a very popular afternoon course. The focus of this class is to prepare students to successfully pass the TOEIC test. Our classes are kept small in order to ensure a high degree of student-teacher interaction. Average class-size is 6 to 8 students.
The TOEIC Preparation course is an ideal additional afternoon option for students at the Intermediate to Advanced levels.
For Beginner students, we recommend Private Classes in the afternoon combined with the Intensive English morning class. Please contact us to put together a program for your specific needs.
The official TOEIC Test consists of 200 multiple-choice questions: 100 Reading and 100 Listening questions. Tests are given every month at centers all over the world. No pass / fail: The test measures a range of levels from emerging proficiency to advanced professional proficiency. Test takers receive a description of what they can actually accomplish in English.

City of California on a mountainous land portion between the bay and the Pacific Ocean, it gets bigger from a Spanish mission based in 1776 and takes a big development during the gold rush of 1848-1849, then with the construction of the Panama canal in 1914. Destroyed largely by an earthquake followed by a fire in 1906 (it is placed on the San Andreas crack), it was reconstructed and spread on lands conquered on the bay. The famous cable cars always climb its sloping streets in landings. San Francisco is one of the biggest port of the country and the financial and cultural pole possessing several universities. In spite of frequent fogs, this city in the magnificent panoramas, suspended between two bridges (Oakland Bay, Golden Gate), attract numerous tourists. Its Chinese district ( Chinatown) is inescapable.
