What is Structured Study?
At school we recognize that successful students are those who take responsibility for their own learning, and work to develop their skills outside of the classroom. We provides students with a structured and comprehensive approach to guided study that both empowers and enables them to use their skills in the real world. The Structured Study program consists of both teacher-led and independent components, students can choose between a wide variety of Structured Study options to extend their classroom learning and can participate in one of the teacher-led components and/or take advantage of a wealth of available language study resources. The school online materials are part of our Blended Learning syllabus. The content is closely linked to the topics, vocabulary and grammar being studied in the General English class and provides consolidation and extension of classroom work. This means that students have the opportunity to review and practice English at their own pace and focus on areas of particular interest or need

ACTIVITIES SAMPLE

Oxford has more to see and do than almost any city of a similar size. You're sure to have a good time, with the school's Activities organiser keeping you busy with parties, sightseeing, cultural events, and more. Here are examples of a few activities you may be interested in:

Punting on the River. For hundreds of years Oxford students have enjoyed this unique way of taking to the water. A punt is a flat-bottomed boat propelled by a long pole pushed against the river bed. Fancy a try?

Blenheim Palace. Just a few miles outside Oxford is the pretty village of Woodstock, home to one of Britain's greatest, most stately homes - Blenheim Palace (birthplace of Winston Churchill). Marvel at the splendor of it all, and stroll in the delightfully landscaped grounds.

Excursion to Windsor and Eton. Highlight of this excursion is Windsor Castle, the 800 year old palace still in use by the Royal Family today. Then it's on to the little town of Eton, famous for its college (where the Royal princes are students today).
