  Los Angeles photos report

City of South California (200 km from the Mexican border). It is the second town of theLos angeles United States after New York. The primitive city based by Spanish in 1781 became American in 1850, developed on the edges of the river Los Angeles, 24 km from the Pacific, near the current business district. During its prodigious expansion, it extended in the surrounding hills but remains still limited by mountains San Gabriel, San Bernadino and Santa Ana who prevent the smog (mixture of fog, exhaust gas and industrial smokes) to scatter. Tourist and university town, it is world-famous for its cinematographic industry with Hollywood
