• Minimum age: 18 (not negociable).
   

• English by teacher home. 15, 20, 25 or 30 lessons per week with either general English or professional English as: business English, legal, medicine, technical subjects, data processing, insurances. Also exams preparation,  FCE, CAE, CPE, TOEFL, TOEIC, accommodation included, 3 meals per day, 2 outgoing activities a week with the teacher. Minimum 1 week, maximum 4 weeks.

You can make rapid progress towards fluency with a course at your level, delivered to your needs. Your progress is monitored from day one and you receive regular feedback throughout your course. You will be impressed at just how quickly your confidence grows as your English language skills improve, immersed in real-life situations and interactions within a wholly English speaking environment.

You can choose to have 15, 20, 25 or 30 lessons per week with your teacher (each lesson lasts 50 minutes). In addition, you would normally be given between one and two hours’ work to prepare for the next day’s lessons. Excursions can also be taken with the teacher where relevant to the course.

On the first day, you will be given a level assessment and listening comprehension and your oral fluency will be assessed. The teacher will then design a Personal Study Plan with you to fulfil your objectives by making the most effective use of your lesson time. Out of lessons you will have the opportunity to practise what you have learnt.

IELTS: International English Language Testing System, asked to enter a British college or university. Score between 5.5 and 7.5

Professional English Training

Professional people who come from a variety of non-business backgrounds who need English for any aspect of their work. The criteria of selection are very rigorous and each family must satisfy a precise conditions of contract: : excellent morality, desire to communicate with their host, satisfactory social standing. We should specify that the families will only speak with you the language of the country where you will be. It is the principle of the immersion courses!

Intensive General English

Choose an Option to your Intensive General English course. Intensive Exam preparation is aimed to help exam students develop their language skills and techniques for specific, internationally recognised examinations.

They are ideal for motivated students with clear, achievable objectives. Each course provides a balance of skills work with emphasis on the student’s weak areas and the specific requirements of the exam.

These exam courses are a straight supplement to the Intensive General English course aimed to help exam students develop their language skills and techniques for specific, internationally recognised examinations.

Course Intensity

Choose 15, 20, 25 or 30 lessons per week of Exam tuition. The TOEIC is a minimum 2 week course.

Booking an Exam

We are not an Examination Centre. If you wish to take an exam in the UK, we can offer advice on the examination centres in the UK, but please bear in mind that this is not usually possible at the last minute and that most examinations need to be booked well in advance.

IELTS Exam Preparation Course

We offer a short intensive one-to-one preparation course for the IELTS exam. They are either 2 or 4 week courses of 25 lessons per week.

The exam tests the English language ability in Listening, Reading, Writing and Speaking of students and provides results in an easy-to-understand band score.

Intensive Course Study:

As our courses our Total immersion the language learnt in class is consolidated throughout the day. We recommend either a 2-week Fast Track course or a 4-week Masterclass of 25 lessons per week one-to-one as a preparation. The work covered in these intensive courses can be extensive, as much as 5 to 10 weeks in a group class. Moreover we can specialise in your weak areas which may differ from any group class. We can help you prepare mentally and linguistically! We can help you plan your Exam strategy too and have access to all the materials you require. We use the latest materials, drawing on practice materials are available and approved Specimen Materials. There is also a published course book which is recommended.

The timing:

We can book you into an IELTS centre local to your host tutor for an supplementary fee. The test is available at least once a month in centres across the UK.

Entry Requirements:

IELTS recommend 100 hours of one-to-one per level. You should have an equivalent of the Cambridge First Certificate exam to be able to achieve band 6 in a reasonably short period of time. Band 6 is acceptable for Undergraduate and 6.5 to 7 for Post graduate law and medical schools.
