Fiji’s newest English Training Institute offers you the opportunity of a lifetime to follow your dream and learn English in the magical, tropical islands of Fiji. We provide English and training courses registered with the Government of the Fiji Islands and taught by fully qualified and experienced professional staff in an idyllic tropical setting. Studying at our school, you will improve your ability to communicate throughout the English speaking world, become successful in your chosen career, and live your dream!

The school:

Located in Nadi, gateway to the beautiful islands of Fiji, the school is midway between the International Airport and the town centre, located in a 3 story building in a tropical garden environment, with spacious air conditioned classrooms and modern facilities, well serviced by public transport and a short walk to Nadi Town.

Students can enjoy the lawns and garden areas and relax in the swimming pool outside of class hours. Drinks and snack foods as well as light meals are available daily on the premises. A kitchen and eating area are available for student use.

 

Programs:
Minimum stay 2 weeks. 8 students maximun per class.


GENERAL ENGLISH COURSE

We
offers 6 levels of English courses. They are 20 or 24 hours per week. Minimum age to attend these courses is 18 years.

  • Beginner (little or no English)

  • Elementary

  • Pre-Intermediate

  • Intermediate

  • Upper Intermediate

  • Advanced

Equal emphasis is placed on the four major skills of Reading, Writing, Speaking and Listening. Lessons are interesting and incorporate a variety of texts and authentic learning materials and learning strategies to provide interest in the classroom. Students may also choose to nominate focus classes to improve their skills in conversation, pronunciation and intonation, writing, listening.

Sample full time general english program, 24 hours per week.

For 20 hours a week, no course after 13:15.

BUSINESS ENGLISH COURSE
They are 30 hours per week (20 hrs general english and 10 hrs elective for business english only). Minimum age to attend this course is 18 years. Minimum level required Intermediate.

Schedule as 20 hours per week program + 2 additional hours in the afternnon from 14 to 16 PM

Homestay Accommodation: Homestay family homes are chosen by the school for their friendly families, clean and tidy homes and the warm welcome they give our students. Homestays are within close walking distance to the public transport and provide a single room with study facility, share bathroom and access to clothes washing facility. Share rooms are available on request. The host family provides breakfast and dinner Monday to Friday, and three meals per day, Saturday and Sunday and public holidays. Meals may be a combination of Fijian, Indian or European food and reflect the cultural heritage of the host family. All host families speak English, with many host families speaking local languages also. Living with a host family gives you the opportunity to share in family life, and join in leisure activities with your host family. As a family member you will keep your room tidy and offer to help in simple household activities. You may even like to cook a meal for your host family!

Dormitory Accommodation: Dormitory accommodation selected for you by the school is provided by professional backpacker establishments that cater for the young and independent traveller. Share facilities are provided and can include internet access, storage, bar, restaurant and spa and leisure facilities. Dormitories range in size from 2 and 4-share and are located in areas which give convenient access to public transport, restaurants, entertainment and shopping. If you want to meet interesting fellow travellers, make friends with people from all over the world, learn about places to go, things to do, then our dormitory accommodation is the place for you.

Share House/Share Apartment: The school organizes share accommodation in selected furnished houses and apartments, close to facilities and public transport. Single bedrooms and share all facilities. Electricity costs shared. You will need to provide your own bed linen and towel and share in household duties. PRICES UPON REQUEST.

Hotel Accommodation: Whatever your taste, whatever your budget, the school can provide your perfect destination in Fiji, while you are studying or during your leisure time. Small private hotels, self-catering rooms, family rooms, 3 to 5 stars, traveller and tourist resorts – all to fit your budget and lifestyle needs. PRICES UPON REQUEST.

Resort Hotels: There is an extensive range of resort properties available in Fiji. Most offer diving facilities. We would be happy to book any of these resort hotels for your weekends away from the school. PRICES UPON REQUEST.

We organizes homestay with host families, close to public transport or within walking distance of the school. All homestays have been inspected and approved by the school.

Dormitory:
We recommend for young travellers having a sense of adventure. Shared rooms and bathrooms and laundry facilities. No meals included.

Local Fijian Customs
The local Fijian people are known for their welcome smiles and their happy greeting of ‘Bula’ which means ‘hello’. People often wish to give you a handshake and enquire where you are going and what you are doing. 

All visitors are encouraged to dress modestly and behave in a courteous manner when visiting with Fijian people in their homes and villages. In traditional living situations, many belongings are shared. Visitors should ensure that their personal belongings are secured.

If you have been invited to visit a village or a ceremony or celebration, please make sure you have been informed of what you are required to bring and how you should dress and whether there is a cost involved.

How to fly to FIJI

There is no direct flight between Europe or Canada to FIJI. People must travel thru Asia, Australia or New Zealand.

From Canada, the easiest way will be to fly thru Los Angeles and then Auckland (New Zealand) and finally Nadi in FIJI.

From Europe the cheapest flights will be with KOREAN AIR thru Seoul (South Korea).
