Our greeting families are recruited with great care. The criteria of selection are very rigorous and each family must satisfy a precise schedule of conditions: excellent morality, desire to communicate with their host, satisfactory social standing. We should specify that the families will only speak with you the language of the country where you will be. It is the principle of the immersion courses!

Town information's

Santiago Capital and great industrial center of the central valley, 90 km off the coast, founded in 1541 by the conquistador Pedro de Valdivia on the hill of Santa Lucia. On the large Avenida O' Higgins (Almeda), 100 m broad and more than 3 km long, are the statues of the liberator of Chile, Bernardo O' Higgins and of José de San Martin and the monument commemorating the battle of Conception in 1879. Close to the town square, Plaza de Armas, a museum opened in the enclosure Casa Colorada, built in 1769 by the Spanish governor. Not far is the cathedral built in 1558. A funicular towering 228 m is the highest point in the city, the San Cristobal hill, which surmounts an enormous statue of the Virgin.
