We should specify that the families will only speak with you the language of the country where you will be. It is the principle of the immersion courses !

City information

The Capital of the state of Yucatan was founded in 1542 by the Spanish conquistador Francisco de Montejo, over the ruins a destroyed city after one of the bloodiest combat battles with the Maya. The Yucatan peninsula whose popularity does not cease growing, conceals on its littoral, treasures which one did not know until today. At the interior of the grounds, the charming town of Merida and the Maya area also count among the most attractive destinations of Mexico. Merida is the gate of Yucatan. The tourist attractions do not lack there in Merida: historical places, shops and stores are of excellent quality (Mayan art, hammocks and exceptional local hand crafts are found), all that at the faint rate/rhythm of a tropical city. The inhabitants of Merida are always courteous, make it a point of honour to accommodate the visitors well. You will be able to visit the convent of the sisters of the Immaculate Conception, the Montejo House, the cathedral, the Palace of the Government, the church of the Parish of Santiago, Paseo de Montejo, the Palate Canton, the Monument of the Fatherland, the regional Museum of anthropology, the Mejorada monastery, the popular museum of art, the church of the parish of St-Christophe and many of archaeological sites excursions.
