Private or group tuition of 10, 15 or 20 lessons per week.

ATTENTION: Your enrolment must be done at least 8 weeks before the starting date for administrative reasons with Taiwan. For Canadians a visa is required. 

Tuition Programs

  • 1 lesson: 50 minutes.
  • Minimum age: 18 .
  • Schedule: from 09:00 AM, flexible depending on the program chosen
  • All levels available.
  • School materials: not included: around 35$US to be paid on the spot.
  • Private or group tuition: minimum 2 hours per day.
  • Test and certificate of linguistic training.

Starting Dates

Private tuition will start every Monday of the year.
Group tuition will start on the following dates:

  • Airport transfer, one way around 25 $US to be paid on the spot.

RATES

Rates which follow are only the registration, administrative fees and courses deposit in table number 1. TO BE PAID BEFORE LEAVING.
 
Rates of courses will be in table number 2. TO BE PAID ON THE SPOT.

Payment procedure for TAIWAN.
1st step: payment BEFORE LEAVING of registration and rights + course deposit. This deposit will be to cost on your final course invoice which you will settle on the spot directly in US dollars.
2nd step: SPOT payment of your course. Your 200$US deposit will be taken into account for the final calculation of your invoice.

  * A group class will be confirmed only with the minimum participation of students
         (2 - 4) for the same dates and of the same level. This confirmation can intervene
         in the last minute or on the spot. This is why the school strongly recommends a private class at
         the time of your registration. This will be always confirmed without any problem.

City information

taipeiLocated in northern Taiwan, Taipei is the political, economic, financial, and cultural center of the Republic of China. It has a thriving arts and academic scene and countless modern commercial buildings. With its vibrant cultural and economic growth, it has become a modern international metropolis.
Taipei is nestled in a basin with mountains on all sides and covers an area of 27,177 hectares. Two beautiful peaks rise up steeply in the northeast: Mt. Tatun   and Mt. Chihsing, both just over 1,000 meters high. Volcanic formations, they are gentle in shape, contrasting with Taiwan's other harsh, jagged peaks. By virtue of this unusual topography, the area was made into Yangmingshan National Park.

Taipei City lying at the center of Taipei Basin in northern part of Taiwan is surrounded by picturesque mountains on three sides. Three major rivers pass the city. Citizens in this city lying 26.6N undergo hot and prolonged summer, short but not chilly winter in the maritime climate. At around 23 degree (Centigrade) annual average temperature and with an abundance of rainfall, people here generally enjoy a pleasant climate year-round.

The city was first built in 1885 and cultural signs can be seen everywhere. Certainly no visitors to the city will ever overlook the world renowned The National Palace Museum with the wealth of more than 100,000 pcs. of thousands - of - year - old, or even more than ten-thousands - of - year - old precious cultural pieces.

In 1920 when Taipei began transforming itself into a modern city, this area was virtually a rural town with not more than four hundred thousand residents. Today, the city area has been expanded to cover 27,517 hectares to accommodate more than 2.7 million registered residents. In fact, more than 4.7 million people are busy and bustling in the Greater Metro Taipei.

This capital city is the home of almost all major administrative, legislative and judicial authorities of the nation in addition to its role as Taiwan's economic, cultural and transportation hub. In the postwar period, Taiwan has attained world-admired political and economic development by leaps and bounds. A great majority of the process and results of the development have been showcased on this brilliant stage of Taipei.

Taipei has a subtropical climate, with an average temperature of 23.6 degrees centigrade (74.5 degrees Fahrenheit). Summer is from May until September and is characterized by scorching heat and high humidity. Average temperatures range between 25.2 and 28.6 degrees centigrade. Autumn is from October to November, with average temperatures ranging between 22.2 and 24.2 degrees centigrade.
